Trip Červená Lhota

If following its history to the very beginning, we would be taken back to the 13th century. At that time a fortress was built on a rocky island in the middle of a pond. Only a wooden draw bridge was connecting it with the firm land. In the 16th century the chateau was rebuilt in  the Renaissance style. Later it was rearranged twice, firstly in the Baroque and later Neo-gothic styles. The final reconstruction took place from 1903 to 1912, and the chateau was given its original Renaissance design.

After  60 minutes of a  guided tour through the beautiful interiors, you can rent a boat and sail on the pond. Round the pond there is a footpath about 1 km long, where you can walk and admire all the exterior beauties of the chateau.
